One of the best ways to save some money on makeup is to make your favorite products do double-duty. An easy way to do this is to substitute eye shadow for eyeliner or vise versa. Take a thin angled or pointed brush, wet it and dip it in your favorite shadow and voila! Instant liquid liner! On the other hand, if your eyeliner is an appropriate color for your lids, warm the pencil up a little by either rubbing it between the palms of your hands or drawing a little on the back of your hand. Then softly smudge it over your lid—a quick and easy smoky eye.
