The inexpensive Smoky Eye by our Beauty Expert
Everyone is digging the smoky eye look lately, and as many of you know, it can get quite expensive to create it: primer, eyeliner for around the eyes, eyeliner for the inner rim, eye shadow, etc. Thus, I’m in constant search of the easiest and cheapest way to get that look. The best product I’ve found so far is Cargo’s Smoky Eyeliner Duo ($28), which includes cream eyeliner and powder eyeliner in similar colors. I use the cream to line all around the eyes with a smudge brush and then pat the powder over the cream to set and blend the line into a smoky shadow. Just blend the edges and you have an instant smoky eye in one of three shimmery shades: bronze, steel grey, or soft black. You can even use the cream on your water line for added drama and the combination of the powder on top of the cream creates a crease-proof look that lasts all day.
