Recommended Gel Eyeliner from our Beauty Expert

I don’t know about you, ladies, but I sweat an awful lot during the summer. With sweating, comes runny eyeliner and let me tell you, no one thinks that’s cute. The good news, however, is that I’ve found a waterproof gel eyeliner that stays in place no matter how much I glisten—Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Liner ($22) comes in black, brown, bronze, blue and now purple. A good alternative to both liquid and pencil, this gel can give you the precision of liquid liners without the running or the soft look of pencil liners without the smudging. You do need a brush to use with it though; I like an angled eyeliner brush, but a pointed one works well, too. Once you’ve applied it, you have a minute or two to soften the edge if you’d like, but once it sets, it stays!
