Celeb look of the week: Katy Perry. I admit, I’m a little in love with her, (not just because I saw her show for my birthday and it was awesome). Her glitzy style is a fun mix retro-glam with unexpected splashes of color, the staples, of course, being thick, glamorous liner, full lashes, and bright lipstick. Start with a sweep of poppy pink blush along the cheekbones to define the contours of the face; then move to the eyes and generously apply your liquid liner, bringing it out into a long peak. Apply a champagne shadow all over the lid and rim the water line with a bright white pencil to really make the eyes pop. Finish the eyes with several coats of a good, thickening mascara, (or apply false lashes if you really want to go over-the-top). On the lips, apply a hot pink lipstick and the look is done.
